Description
For individuals with access to the back of their bar face, bar mount brackets offer an excellent option for both an elegant appearance and added convenience. These brackets are particularly useful for those who prefer not to drill holes into their floors or wish to avoid stubbing their toes on mounts. Additionally, they facilitate floor cleaning by allowing for easy sweeping or mopping under the foot rail without obstructions.
Crafted from stainless steel with a brushed finish, this bar mount bracket is designed to precisely match Brushed Stainless Steel 1.5-inch outside diameter bar rail tubing. The narrow diameter of this rail component makes it versatile for use as a handrail bracket as well as with foot rails.
Bar mounted brackets enable customization of the bar rail height, making them ideal for those who prefer to mount their bar rail higher than the standard 6”. It is essential to measure each bracket’s placement carefully before drilling into the bar. For proper support, bar brackets should be placed at each end of the tubing, plus one for every 4-foot increment.
These brackets mount directly to the bar face using three mounting screws and a threaded bolt that mounts from behind the bar, creating a modern look where the metal bar rail tubing appears to float next to the bar. The threaded bolt provides additional weight support to secure the foot rail in place.
For assistance in selecting the best bracket for your bar project, refer to our bar foot rail brackets guide for more information on each option.
Installation instructions:
Bar mount brackets come with a nut and bolt assembly to provide adequate weight support. A solid backing at least 3/4” deep is required to ensure sufficient support.
Measure and mark the holes for mounting screws and the threaded bolt.
Drill a hole in the bar die wall for the threaded rod.
Attach the bracket from behind the bar face using the rod and secure it with the bolt and washer.
Attach the brackets to the bar face using the three mounting screws.
Secure the tubing to the bracket by fastening set screws through the hole in the bottom of the bracket.
